The BURNSTOP IM-Wood Coat has excellent adhesion properties, which makes it suitable for surfaces that are less absorbent.

After a treatment with BURNSTOP IM-Wood Coat, the wooden surface has better fire-retardant properties.

BURNSTOP IM-WOOD Exterior

BURNSTOP IM-Wood Exterior is a fire retardant for impregnation of wood, which is mainly used for outdoor applications. The Burnstop IM-Wood Exterior is a combination of the halogen-free fire-retardant phosphates in combination with PTFE water-repellent molecules.

After treatment with BURNSTOP IM-Wood Exterior, the treated wood has both fire-retardant and water-repellent properties..

For this reason, the BURNSTOP IM-Wood Exterior is ideal for the treatment of pre-existing wooden structures that dispense with the weather conditions.
